Introduction
A connected website was created for Times Consultant so that prospective students could explore international study options, understand the support available, and request guidance. Destinations, services, educational resources, and consultation paths were brought into one experience.
About the Client
Times Consultant provides guidance to students considering education abroad. Information about study destinations, universities, applications, and visa support is presented through its website, alongside opportunities to speak with an adviser.
The decision being supported is an important one. A course must be chosen, requirements must be understood, and several stages may need to be completed before a student can begin studying overseas. For many visitors, the website may be the first place where those questions are explored.

Challenges
A large amount of information needed to be made approachable. Students arriving at different stages of their journey could be looking for very different answers: a suitable country, a university, a scholarship, application guidance, or help with a visa.
Those paths needed to be connected without being collapsed into one overwhelming page. At the same time, the breadth of Times Consultant’s services needed to be communicated clearly, and a way to request personal guidance needed to remain easy to find.
A balance was therefore needed between self-directed research and human support. Useful information had to be available for visitors who were still exploring, while a direct next step had to be available for those ready to speak with an adviser.
Goals
The experience was planned around four practical goals:
-
Study destinations and services were to be made easier to explore.
-
The steps involved in studying abroad were to be explained more clearly.
-
Trust was to be supported through relevant information about the organisation and its work.
-
Enquiries were to be encouraged through visible consultation and contact options.
How the Experience was Organised
The website was structured around the questions students might bring to it. Destinations and services were given distinct routes, while guidance about the study-abroad process was made available for visitors who needed to understand what would happen next.
Course, university, and scholarship discovery areas were presented near the beginning of the experience. Consultation options were placed alongside the information, so that a conversation could be requested without the research journey having to be abandoned.
Supporting content was also brought into the wider experience. Events, articles, testimonials, and university-partner information were used to give visitors more ways to learn about their options and about Times Consultant.
Website Architecture
The website architecture was organised around the student journey, making destinations, services, resources, and consultation pathways easier to discover. Each stage was connected within a clear structure so students could move from initial research to application and visa guidance with greater confidence.
The study-abroad process was presented as a sequence of steps, from programme selection and application through to offers, tuition arrangements, visa applications, and the start of a course. By being broken into stages, a process that can feel unfamiliar was made easier to scan.
This structure also allowed visitors to move between a broad overview and more detailed information. The next stage could be identified without every requirement needing to be understood at once.
A Connected Course-Discovery Journey
Searches started on the Times Consultant website are passed directly to Times Course Finder, where relevant programmes can be explored, filtered, compared, and selected. The two platforms were connected to create a smoother journey from initial interest to course discovery and application.
Outcome:
A connected digital platform was delivered for Times Consultant, bringing its services, study destinations, application guidance, and course-discovery tools into a clearer and more accessible experience.
Measurable Digital Growth
1.4 million active users were recorded across the platform during this year.
The project resulted in a wider digital transformation for Times Consultant. Previously separate areas of information, discovery, and student support were brought together as one connected journey.
A stronger digital presence was established, course discovery was made more useful, and clearer pathways to consultation were provided. The platform can now support students from their first search through to personalised guidance and application planning.
